Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that they were delaying four of their major titles, two of which, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Red Steel 2, were slated for this fall. Today, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot explained the decision.
Ubisoft unveiled a day of delays yesterday, pushing back four of their major titles, most notably of which Splinter Cell: Conviction and Red Steel 2. With the fall season looking slimmer due to these push backs, many people have speculated that the move could be due to the economy and/or due to fierce competition from the likes of Modern Warfare 2 amongst others.
Looks like its delay-your-game day! As Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Red Steel 2 and I Am Alive all get delayed by Ubisoft to next year.
Usually the fall season is the time of year where we all gain a bit of extra poundage, what with Halloween's candy, Thanksgiving's turkey, and Christmas's... well.. Turkey and candy. But, the fall season for games looks to be loosing some poundage, as some more games from Ubisoft have been pushed back to 2010.

The V-Screen is an attachment that is said to enhance the perceived depth of the 2D screen images on the PSP.
There is no special software required to see the 3D images, instead you simply attach the V-Screen to your PSP and the accessory renders a three dimensional experience.
